Do you think there was a high-tech world in 1800?
or even before? Ever wonder what might of been before this generation high technology. I think I could have laptops / computers, touchscreens and color TV? …. ok Toffifee. you think, damn!
Our high level of technology is only built on past innovations. If we had had our industrial revolution, past hundred years have laptops in 1900. They are just numbers. What really matters is people and what they do. We have had several times when technology has been lost and recovery – nothing in our modern scale, however. Today, we are able to do anything any our ancestors. It may require more political will (at that time people had no other choice but to obey such thing), but we totally could build a pyramid bigger than that of Giza, or a wall and that of China. So I guess I mean the Year is not really. It all started when we sat down and began farming and consumption of alcohol, the establishment of religion and law, and later, when the sparks of technological invention and social change make us jump forward.
