Question of foods with sugar in the blood?
I am 7 months pregnant. My Blood Sugar has returned 145 and now I need to test for 3 hours. If eating an English muffin with lite butter, 1 egg and cheese for breakfast and a salad with chicken and cheese for lunch, I eat a whole bag of peanut M & Ms? A pack contains 30 carbs and 25 grams of sugar. I do not know much about this things so thank you. So what can occur when your blood sugar is too high?
The M & M, not worth the risk, especially if you have not yet been tested 3 hours. Save for when you're not pregnant. Ask your doctor to be sure. Your baby can be very severe if there is a large amount of sugar other than that you do not know. Be the first quarter is when the sugar level can cause birth defects. Best of luck.
