swelling after repair of tendons in the finger?
So I had surgery on his thumb yesterday to repair a tendon (or ligament connecting two bones in a joint). Now they have it in a splint and wrapped Spike fairly well, but I can feel the swelling. I was keep it high, but the ice does not work. Other ideas to keep the swelling? The movement in the rest of my fingers right.
Maybe you could loosen the adjustment to the outside of the sauce to allow the inflammation. Keep your arms above your head, which could help, but still use the ice, even if you think you do not, you could make a small difference. Do not bandage, just loosening. Ibuprofen or Aleve is a good idea too. Good luck
