I want a web link to a device to aid mobility in a wheelchair who uses the levers. Ideas?
A few years ago there was news of a man who was held device to wheelchair mobility whereby aid instead of grabbing the wheel, there are two levers to move forward, backward, or rotate. Each has a handle grip when pressure is applied brake pads, brake similar to a bike wheel each side. Except when grasps and moves the lever that moves the wheel. Or when you go down a ramp, can be used to reduce speed. It is a simple device that could recreate, but rather find the original creator. Prefer not going to use an electric wheelchair, it is not very healthy. You do not get much exercise with them.
Call local medical supply stores in your area. Must be able to say where to find what you want and if something like that is available.
